Video Hoops Version 8.0
Version 8 marks the most significant change and enhancement
to the Video Hoops program that has occurred over the last several years.
With this version we have introduced the ability now to edit a game that
contains multiple video files. The
impact of this change is significant for coaches that have hard drive cameras that
create multiple game video files. So
instead of having to create a single video file from those individual video files,
you can go directly to the game editing process therefore, saving an hour or more
in video file conversion and creation time.
The single video file logging process has not been eliminated we have just
added the option of utilizing multiple video files.

Coach Silver Publishes 4 New Playbooks
Coach Silver, a legend in
Texas basketball, has
published 4 new playbooks for 2007. A must have for any coaches library,
Coach Silver has put his vast knowledge and experience for the game
into these new books.
3 Out 2 In Motion Ball Screening Offense
This offense is the hottest thing going in college basketball this season.
Both
Florida and
Kansas are running it about 60%
of the time.
Press Package: How to Press on Made and Missed
Shots
If you love to play up-tempo basketball and score off of your defense, this
is what you need.
Spots: A Team Offense for a Super Shooter
Coaches, if you have one player either a 2 or 3 man who you want to take
about 25 shots a game, this is what you need. This is a team offense based
on one super player who needs to be a team player.
Coach Silver's 6 Best Man to Man Sets and 5 Best
Aone Sets
With these sets (quick hitters) you will be able to cut up your opponents
like a
SURGEON. These sets are taken from great programs
from all over the US.

PlayThis Version 2.0 Released
Some of the new Features for
PlayThis 2.0 include:
- Play a series of game videos from a single folder or play a single video file on
your computer.
- Controlled with a mouse or Cowboy remote device.
- Illustrate
on top of the video using the mouse.
- Priced thousands of dollars less than similar
products.
Customer Comment
¡°I've learned that you can run PlayThis from a folder. This
allows you to make cutups in DSV, export them as WMV
file to a flash drive (which has a copy of the PlayThis
software), and play them back on just about any machine. A 2Gb flash drive
will hold about 90 minutes of content. The ease of use, portability
and Cowboy remote functionality are unbelievable. This is
probably the end game in video playback.¡±

The Dallas Morning
News (Sunday edition)
"Gadget plays: Film study has entered the byte-sized
stage"
Seeking an edge,
Cedar Hill's David Milson is a pioneer among area
coaches in editing video on the computer.
Milson is in his sixth
season working with a system designed by
Dick Groff (
Wiffletree
Sports), the father of one of the assistant coaches.
In those six seasons,
Cedar Hill's record is
206-27.
"Anything I can do to help my players, I want to do,"
Milson said.
I really think the computer makes a difference."
